Yamaha ruft 30.000 vier Schlag Außenbord zurück

Die Marineteilung von Yamaha hat in den USA eine freiwillige Zurückrufung auf beinahe 30.000 vier Schlag Außenbordmotoren am Freitag eingeleitet, sagend, dass jene Drosselklappenverbindungsruten möglicherweise mangelhaft sein könnten. Die Zurückrufung verwickelt Modell Jahr der 2002 bis 2005 F225, LF225, F200 und LF200 Motoren.
Yamaha MOTORgmbh. Vereinigten Staaten haben in eine Entlassung gesagt, den es geraten hat, dass Eigentümern die Außenbord bringen, die hinter sind zu ermächtigten Yamaha Händlern, wo das Problem wird repariert werden.
"Die Ausgabe an Hand ist, dass es die Möglichkeit von einem schnell untätigen gibt, das die Fähigkeit bewirken kann, in neutral zu verschieben, ist es wirkliche niedrige Geschwindigkeit, es ist keine Schnellausgabe überhaupt," hat Claude Von Platon gesagt, der Manager von der Marinedienst Teilung von Yamaha. "Wir haben eine Ausgabe mit den Drosselklappenarmen, den Ruten, in der Produktion das es von von ihnen gab zu viel Veränderung entdeckt. So haben wir das ganze Verfahren und geändert, den wir entschieden haben, auf der Seite der Verhinderung zu irren sich".
Von Platon hat gesagt, dass die Reparatur "leicht" ist, obwohl Änderungssätze zur Verfügung zu Händlern "sofort" nicht stehen könnten.
"Yamaha erzählt, dass seine Kunden die Motoren wieder nicht bedienen, bis die Änderung durchgeführt ist," hat die Entlassung gesagt.

Yamaha recalls 30,000 four-stroke outboards

Yamaha's marine division in the US initiated a voluntary recall on nearly 30,000 four-stroke outboard motors on Friday, saying that throttle link rods could be potentially defective. The recall involves model year 2002 through 2005 F225, LF225, F200 and LF200 motors.
Yamaha Motor Corp. USA said in a release that it has advised owners to bring the outboards back to authorized Yamaha dealers, where the problem will be repaired.
"The issue at hand is that there is the possibility of a fast idle, which can effect the ability to shift into neutral, it's real low speed, it's not a high-speed issue at all," said Claude Von Plato, the manager of Yamaha's Marine Service Division. "We discovered an issue with the throttle arms, the rods, in the production of them there was too much variation. So we changed the whole process and we decided to err on the side of prevention."
Von Plato said the repair is "easy" though modification kits might not be available to dealers "immediately."
"Yamaha tells its customers not to operate the motors again until the modification is performed," said the release.
