Abstract:Lead-free motor fuel of the premium/eurosuper class contains: (a) 60-70 vol.% normal base fuel, (b) 17-25 vol.% oxygen compounds, (c) 1.25-5 vol.% stabilizer and cosolvent, (d) up to 3 vol.% diethyl benzene, (e) 0-35 vol.% toluene, (f) 0-25 vol.% olefin fraction and preferably (g) up to 10 mg/l potassium compound (in terms of pure potassium). Preferred Features: The cosolvent is (i) ETBE (ethyl tert.-butyl ether) and isopropanol or (ii) MTHF (methyltetrahydrofuran) and isobutanol. The base fuel is preferably present in amount not more than 60 vol.%.
