Dieter and Dodl we are in agreement.
A radar is usefull peace of equipment during long passages, in bad weather conditions, during night, when there is fog.
However, I found that a GPS/Map (I have a GARMIN GPS?MAp 185 with G-Charts) does similar job to a certain extend.
Any way it will be good to know why Sam needs a radar for.
