Sind entsprechende Produkte mit freier Farbwahl verfügbar?

It is not cost effective to remove a tube to have it reconditioned. You can repair, strip it while it is on the boat. Sand off existing paint with 80-100 grit then use a better paint. Parasol ruberbond. It is a Hypalone paint that is as much a chemical reaction paint as a coating paint so it bonds well. It takes 6-10 coats depending on your natural tube color. Since your boat is a glue on tube system your only two options for new tubes are Hypalone and PVC. Wing and CPI tubes cant be glued they only work on rail systems.

Das ist aber 1k Farbe und auch nicht in den Farbtönen erhältlich die ich brauche.

Wobei der deutsche Großhändler den von mir benötigten Farbcode hätte....wenn auch für Epifanes 2k :ka5:

Immer wenn du i-was auf den Schlauch pappen willst musst du bis aufs Grundmaterial abschleifen..

Wenn man ein corporate Design einhalten will... und/oder der Schlauch eh schn fertig ist.

Meine Kollegen in USA machen das wohl öfter, nur kriegt man deren Produkte hier so schwer bis garnicht....:motz_4:

Hallo,

habe auch mal nach Erfahrungen gesucht und bin auf die Siebdruckfarben

zum Planen oder ähnliches beschichten gestoßen.

Habe aber leider niemanden gefunden der mir das mal mit Fachwissen

hinterlegt erklären konnte. Ob das wirklich ne gute oder bessere Möglichkeit

wäre:confused- , das Gummizeugs ist ja wohl eher ne dickere Beschichtung

des Schlauchmaterials und das will ich nicht. Auch denke ich das diese

Profifarbe weitaus bessere,hochwertigere Inhaltsstoffe hat und somit

länger hält , belastbarer ist.

Wing makes a paint for their tubes and it is extremely durable. Only problem I had with it, besides smelling extremely toxic is the coverage. It is a bit transparent. I recently reconditioned a hypalon tube and used this product. It covered well in five coats and seems to have bonded well.

Not sure how it will hold up in the long run, but I checked a few references and they seem to be doing well in some difficult environments. As Ryan mentioned all of THESE paints make a chemical bond, so failure shouldn't occur if prep is done properly and you follow the manufacturers instructions. Like any paint job, it's all about the prep. Painting is the easy part. Take your time and do it right and it will last for years. Work in a controlled environment if you can (e.g. not in the direct sun light, low humidity). The products I used are all roll on, so there will be some texture. The product Ryan mentioned can be sprayed. My Wing tube has 1 year on it and it looks like new with no failures or significant signs of wear.

All of your attachments (D-rings, rub-strake ect) can be removed with a little heat, cleaned sanded and re-glued. Once the tube is stripped you can soap it for leaks. My Wing tube was so bad ( cloth showing ) we made a few patches then vacuumed it flat and rolled it twice before re-inflating and final paint. This sealed Most of the leaks. Rub-strake You can order new and glue it on. Most of these adhesives begin to fail at 140 degrees so a heat gun will do the trick. On the rub-strake I went with yellow. My theory is that it would conduct less heat than black in the hot Florida sun and be less likely to fail. Once everything is glued up you can over lap the paint on the rub-strake making it pretty bullet proof. And remember, prep, prep, prep!

Hallo,
ich habe auch sehr lange gezögert bis ich mich getraut habe mein Boot mit einem neuen Farbanstrich zu verschönern.
Beim 3. Link oben (Metzeler) Gummipaint + Diluente + Detersil bestellt.
Gründlich vorgeschliffen, mit Detersil entfettet und dann Gummipaint Orange mit 50% Dilunete mit der Spritzpistole aufgetragen.
Mein Rib sieht jetzt aus wie neu.
Die Farbe hält super gut, selbst wenn die Ankerkette über den Schlauch gezogen wird.

@Michael hast du Fotos gemacht von Deinem Boot vor während und nach der

Aktion ? Vielleicht könntest Du eins mal machen und zeigen so wie es jetzt

aussieht von ganz nahe? Hast Du erfahrung mit der Lackierpistole und Profi

Equipment oder einfach mit der Bauhauspistole und Bauhauskompressor

losgelegt ? Hört sich jedenfalls so an als ob es super hält bei Dir. :cool:

Warscheinlich weil es verdünnt wurde und nicht einfach so dick

draufgepinselt ?
