Servus,

Based on the CARB certification data, the new 1.9L I3 platform will produce a very robust 115. Here's how it stacks up against the other 115s in the peak torque department. Evinrude 115HO G2 - 154 lb-ft @ 3750 RPM Suzuki DF 115 - 121 lb-ft @ 4500 RPM Mercury 115 4S (2.1L) - 119 lb-ft @ 3500 RPM Mercury Optimax - 119 lb-ft @ 4250 RPM Evinrude 115 G1 - 117 lb-ft @ 4500 RPM Yamaha F115 - 115 lb-ft @ 4000 RPM Mercury 115 4S (1.7L) 103 lb-ft @ 4500 RPM. At the 130 to 140 segment, it takes a distant but distinct 2nd place behind the Evinrude V6 G1 Evinrude 135 G1 - 203 lb-ft @ 3250 RPM Evinrude 140 G2 - 157 lb-ft @ 4250 RPM Suzuki DF140 - 122 lb-ft @ 4500 RPM Yamaha F130 - 114 lb-ft @ 5500 RPM At the 150 HP segment, the new 150 G2 seems to be at about the same level as the Yamaha F150XB - this one is is not going to win a tug-o-war contest. Evinrude 150 (V6) G2 - 229 lb-ft @ 3500 RPM Evinrude 150 (V6) G1 - 201 lb-ft @ 3250 RPM Mercury Optimax 150 - 199 lb-ft @ 3500 RPM Yamaha SHO 150 - 185 lb-ft @ 4000 RPM Suzuki DF 150 - 184 lb-ft @ 4000 RPM Mercury 150 FS - 180 lb-ft @ 3000 RPM Mercury 150 Verado - 179 lb-ft@ 4000 RPM Yamaha F150 XCA - 178 lb-ft @ 4000 RPM Evinrude 150 (I3) G2 - 171 lb-ft @ 4250 RPM Yamaha F150XB - 169 lb-ft @ 4000 RPM ..."
